From 27 April to 1 May, the largest agricultural fair in Alentejo, OviBeja 2017 will take place at Beja, just 23km away from our house.
This year’s event has an interesting and varied program. Livestock competitions, sporting events, and colloquia dedicated to agricultural affairs.
The pavilions of the fair will be filled with exhibitions of livestock, birds and Alentejo gastronomy, while abroad you can watch the faltering of equestrian events and other sporting competitions.
The music will have an important presence in OviBeja, with the performances of Miguel Ângelo, Anselmo Ralph, Sangre Ibérico and Orelha Negra, among others.
